Parsley wanted to bring her purse along for the photo shoot. Here are the shots before she decided to pass it off.

Rose Petals
As I've mentioned before, we've taken a couple of walks at Furman recently. Such a beautiful campus. We stumbled across their rose garden the other night and I am absolutely amazed at how magnificent it is. It makes me feel like I am touring the grounds of Pemberley (well, atleast the rose garden section of the estate). I've been meaning to take Parsley back for a photo shoot before the roses wilt.
Yesterday was our day. Over 300 pictures later, here we are.
Today you just get to see their amazing roses.
And to imagine how much more beautiful they are in person.

And a little taste of the sweetness yet to come...

Quick Visit
We enjoyed dinner with Uncle Dave and Aunt Joyce on Friday. We were grateful that they dropped by Greenville on their way back to Michigan from Hilton Head.
Story time with Uncle "Dave"
Is that how I'm supposed to smile?
A kiss.
Late-night walk at Furman.
The rose garden at night.
The tower.
Sorry, a slow shutter speed and no tripod. Better luck next time.
Sadly, no pictures of our cookies and cream Chik-fil-a milkshakes. Best in the world.
Thanks for such a fun evening, Aunt Joyce and Uncle Dave!

After Years of Anticipation
I finally experienced Pita House today. First time.
Parsley and I met up with our friends and had such a great time.
Of course, some of us prefer mini vanilla wafers to pita bread.

Fabulous blue eyes.
Parsley preferred the dill pickle.
I was wisely directed to the Jerusalem Salad.
I was in no way underwhelmed.
Probably should have bought some of the sauce to take home.
This is how a pita was meant to taste. Freshness in my mouth.
A complimentary cheese pita for Parsley.
She preferred the pickle. But next time, I wager she'll be more interested in that tasty cheese pita.
Yes, little Pita House, I'll be back.
I'm already feeling the urge to use your fresh pita-ness in Jessica's suflaqe meal. Can't wait.
